ABOUT
Altos Tequila is a brand created in 2009 by Maestro Tequilero Jesús Hernández and two of the world’s most recognized bartenders: Henry Besant and Dre Masso. When Altos was born, the creators were very passionate about crafting a tequila with the lowest impact on the environment. In 2017, Agenda28 was commissioned to take the corporate social responsibility efforts further and create a strategy to amplify Altos’ commitment to sustainable development by empowering key stakeholders to preserve the planet and promote prosperity in their communities.
The result was the creation of the ALTOS WE CARE platform, and since then, Agenda28 has closely worked with the brand to design and execute the different programs of the strategy that include pioneering sustainable production best practices for the tequila industry, preserving the environment in every step of the value chain, creating social innovation programs with the jimadores communities in Mexico, and supporting programs to help the bartender’s community worldwide.
